Carbon is critical to soil function, productivity, and structure. It is a large contributor to healthy soil conditions. Collecting core samples is an important step for determining carbon levels and subsequently improving soil health. Soil core samplers are designed to compress the soil as little as possible. Power generated from the gas-powered hammer makes driving soil core samplers quick and efficient. The specialized hammer head accepts an oversized cross handle allowing two people to lift the sampler out of the ground simultaneously. Carbon sampling kits feature the AMS 1-1/4” Direct Push threaded connection, making them our strongest hand sampling soil core samplers to date! There are two options when it comes to carbon sampling kits. The first, 2” X 12” split core carbon sampling kit, allows for easy extraction of soil cores and minimizes the chance of disturbing the sample. Split soil core samplers can be operated with or without a liner. The second, 2” X 12” carbon sampling kit, features a solid and slotted soil core sampler cup. The solid cup is ideal for running plastic liners while the slotted cup makes accessing your core sample quick and easy! Product Cut Sheet Kit weighs 98lbs!
