A great product from premium print brand Speedball, especially for a printer new to using oil based inks. This block printing ink starter set includes 6 tubes of 37ml oil-based block printing Ink (Blue Red Yellow Green Black White). Water based printing inks these days are great & the quality of ink has improved incredibly however, you can't get better than a true oil based ink to create your best quality prints. Speedball oil printing inks are formulated specifically for professional printing and are created from high quality pigments. The tubes might look small but the ink goes a long way, use a small pea size to begin, adding when required. This set makes a great gift & is great value for money considering the amount of ink colour choice. Mixable produce your own shades. Permanent, waterproof and archival quality prints can be created using any traditional printmaking surface such as linoleum. Clean up easily with kerosene mineral spirits or turpentine. Tip - spritz a little veg oil over the surface before using soap and water for a more eco friendly clean up.
