The smaller size is easier to manipulate and makes squaring up blocks a breeze so it is a wonderful choice when traveling to classes and retreats. It has unique easy-to-read markings 1 1/2 inch and 2 1/2 inch cuts. Turn the ruler around to get markings for 1/4 inch and 3/4 inch cuts. It also includes markings to square up half-square triangles, quarter-square triangles, and blocks up to 6 inch finished. And it has 1/8 and 3/8 inch dashed lines to for eighth-inch type strips.
